DISC – Behavioral Assessment
What is it?
DISC is a personal assessment tool that helps people to understand, appreciate, and discuss their behavioral differences in ways that enable them to better adapt to their environment, appreciate one another, and build on their strengths.
Why Use the DISC Assessment?
To develop teams that interact and communicate better, creating:
- Increased Performance & Productivity
- Increased Customer Service
- Increased Sales
- Improved Culture
- Happier individuals
Productivity and teamwork are critical to the success of every organization, whether it’s a Fortune 500 company or a small business. Often, however, personality clashes among its members have a negative effect on the team…ranging from minor distractions to major disruptions.
Personality differences can either be roadblocks or building blocks to cooperation and creativity…and ultimately, productivity and success.
Invite Nancy to present a transformational DISC session for your Team.
During the workshop, participants will learn:
- To read the DISC analysis and learn about their personality style as well as those of their colleagues.
- The motivations of different personality types.
- How different personalities process information and prefer to communicate.
- How different personalities respond to confrontations and resolve conflicts.
- To leverage the strengths of one another to improve team dynamics.
As a team leader, the knowledge and understanding you will acquire at the workshop will enable you to:
- Build more productive teams.
- Enhance communication with and among team members.
- Ease frustrations and interpersonal conflicts.
- Facilitate productive and creative group interactions.
- Achieve more difficult goals in shorter periods of time.
Nancy also offers The Wheel of Life workshop for teams & groups, which focuses more on an individual’s life balance, working toward identifying priorities and achieving goals.
I invited Nancy Keny to do a DISC training session at my office. This was one of the most impactful and beneficial sessions. Nancy focused on understanding our needs (to improve personal awareness and to improve interoffice/client communication) before the presentation. She not only addressed these topics during the presentation but also followed up with us once the meeting was over to provide us with detailed feedback. Nancy is a great presenter and is a master of her trade. I enjoyed the interactive and collaborative approach used during the DISC training session. I consider the time spent with Nancy as a company was a great use of our time and resources. We received immediate positive feedback from majority of the employees.
